Not great care, but at least "very good".

Angie W. found a handful of signs like this one in the radiology department of a hospital in Toledo, OH.

I personally suspect that this is part of a brainwashing campaign, so that when you get the customer satisfaction survey later on, and they ask, "Did you receive VERY GOOD CARE?" you find yourself saying, "hmm, that sounds so familiar. That must be the right answer!"

They could have just as easily written EXCELLENT care (it'd fit). Maybe they have self-esteem issues and VERY GOOD is all they feel they're qualified to say about themselves. What an odd sign.

I still laugh when I read this sign. I hope everyone enjoys this sign as well, and wonders 'What were they thinking?!'

Happy New Year everyone!!!

A friend of mine was in the hospital here in columbus ohio, and I saw another sign mentioning VERY GOOD CARE. It must be an Ohiohealth thing.

At the hospital I used to work at, we were instructed to tell people, "I hope you had a very good experience" because the survey they received later would ask if their experience was "very good".

I no longer work at that hospital.

Yep... it's definitely supposed to be sending a subliminal message. I work in a hospital... believe me, it's from one of those consulting firms that hospitals hire to try to improve their customer service... "very good" is an answer on the survey they send to patients after they are discharge, and hospital admin wants patients to answer that way for high ratings on this customer satisfaction survey... employees are supposed to use the words "very good" as much as possible regarding the patients' care... how weird and annoying is that.

I figured as much. I forget what restaurant I was at not too long ago and the waitress directly said to me, "here's the survey, we are aiming for all 5's" or whatever it was. the human desire to please people is likely to kick in at that point . . .
